Here’s a pick-up technique that I’ve seen done so many times that if I had a dollar for every time this happened, right in front of my eyes…

…I’d never have to work another minute in my life even if I spent it frivolously.

Man approaches woman.  Man takes out paper tablet and colored pencils.  Man asks if he can sketch the woman.  She says yes or no.  Assuming she says yes, man sketches woman.  Man then shows woman the sketch.  She oooohhhs and aaaaahhhs.  Man asks woman out.

More often than not, man gets shot down.

Now, stick with me for a moment while I show you…

A New Take On The Sketching Approach That “Draws” You More Ladies

A student of mine who uses this approach carries around a sketchbook full of “everyday life” sketches.  He’s always sketching, always drawing, always practicing.

Recently, he sat near two women and started sketching.  After a few minutes he said “Excuse me. I am trying to make both of you a sketch, but you are moving all the time and I can`t finish the details. Would you mind staying still for five minutes?” They looked at him funny for a minute, then with a “well, why not?” reaction, asked him how he wanted them to pose.  After he drew them, he thanked them and closed the sketch book.

How Did This “Draw” The Women Closer?

Here’s the unexpected twist; he didn’t do what they expected.  He projected the experience as something that requires them to co-operate better if they are going to be part of it. He broke what they would normally expect; a guy to ASK if he could sketch them. Instead he told them he was already doing so, AND telling them that they weren’t doing it right!  They can’t tell if you are approving of them or disapproving, if you want something from them as a sexual approach or something else.

Then he didn’t offer to show it to them, he just closed the book and forgot about them.

What Is Really Going On Here…

…is continually doing the unexpected! Pattern interruption creates the openness to be led.

I will say that again.

The core principle here is, “Do the unexpected in a way that creates MORE intrigue and a desire to move forward on the part of the woman.”

Seems that yesterday’s post on the failure vibe that stifles a man’s girl-getting game from the inside really hit a nerve.

To respond to several of you who wrote with substantially the same question – what to do when it seems like every woman you see is with a man or a group of men – I’m going to share an email from a longtime fan that captures the essence of it.

The situation he brings up is common – all too common – for guys who want to meet really hot women.

You see, hot women LOVE company. They often love MALE company, because having a guy around:

1. Keeps away the weaker, wimpier guys who assume that the escorting guy is the boyfriend.
2. It makes them feel wanted and needed.
3. Sometimes the guy IS the boyfriend but it doesn’t matter because, if you can approach it right, you often can STILL pull the girl.

Ok, here is the email/question:

“I had a question and I would like to hear your insight on following situation: You see a stunning girl and you would like to go and talk to her but she is surrounded with two or maybe more guys. Not in the bar or something like that..

My first thought is that one of them is her boyfriend and I should stay away. Especially if I see some touching going on. They could be as well close friends, but the question is, what would you say to a girl in this situation? I mean you really don’t know whether the boyfriend is next to her but in case he does what then?”

Ok, As I said above, NEVER make assumptions about whether or not a girl is “taken” or if the guy with her is her “boyfriend” (or “bore-friend” for that matter)..

For all you know, the dude is her “orbiter”. Someone who circles around her massive ego, to keep her feeling good about herself.

In any event, the key here is to approach and TALK TO THE GUY OR GUYS.

Do NOT approach the woman directly.

Simply go up to one of the guys.

Open your mouth and say, “You guys are a really cute couple. How did you meet?”

Trust me, if they are NOT a couple, she’ll quickly let you know.

From there, you are in.

Just remember: don’t ever make assumptions about whether a girl is taken or not.  When you ass-ume, you stand a greater chance of feeling like an ass because you didn’t step up, then you will of looking like an ass if you did.

Everybody has their own “Sarging zone.”

For some guys, it’s the bars and clubs.  Others lay their mack down at the bookstores and coffee shops.

I have students who go grocery shopping every day, buying just what they need to make dinner that day, because it keeps them in play daily in a place where women of all levels of hotness can be found, pretty much any time.

Others, I kid you not, religiously attend services every week because there are a lot of women there.  (Something can be said for that: you know from the jump you have something in common that’s extremely important to both of you!)

So how annoying is it when you’re at a bar or club and you just want to hang out and enjoy a couple drinks, and your buddies keep razzing you because you just don’t want to walk right up to that hottie up at the bar, right this second.  Even worse when they say “Awww come on, show us some of that Speed Seduction® stuff you talk about.  Show us how you ‘Sarge’ will ya?”

While one of the goals of Speed Seduction® is the ability to effortlessly and fearlessly meet women anytime, anyhow, anywhere, THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU HAVE TO, EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME.

Maybe you’re at the bookstore because you want to buy a f@@king BOOK.  Maybe you have a headache, or you just found out your investments bellied-up and you’re just not thinking about getting laid RIGHT THAT SECOND.

So, why, when you’re in a club, do you HAVE to do this or that?  Is there some rule that forces you to turn into a hound-dog just because you saw it in some movie?

Look: at 51 years of age, I DON’T GO TO CLUBS.  It’s just not my thing.  I CAN and DO easily pick-up women in almost any other environment. As in VERY easily. So if someone’s giving you a hard time because, on a finger-snap, you’re not racing up to every single woman like a Pavlovian dog, first of all have compassion.  Could be your friends mean well, but they aren’t getting any and are looking to live vicariously through you.

Part of the power of Speed Seduction® is the power of CHOICE.  You CHOOSE what you want to do at this very moment.  Maybe in a moment from now, you’ll see the woman you CHOOSE to approach and claim your results with.  That, to me, beats a “friendly jab”… or a poke in the eye!

Have you seen a TV show called “King Of The Hill?”

I don’t watch the show too often, but the episode I happened to catch recently was a PERFECT example that relates to what I teach.

One of the main characters is a guy named Boomhauer, who doesn’t talk much and comes off as a sort of spaced-out airhead if you don’t know him well. When he does speak, you can barely make out what he’s saying.

BUT, for some reason he’s never short of succulent, hot babes to go out with. He’s viewed as a “ladies’ man” by his buddies, most of whom (from what I could tell) either haven’t mastered a girl-getting game or are stuck in “real-hate-shun-ships by default.”

Anyway, one day Boomhauer offers to teach Hank Hill’s son Bobby, who is just starting to like girls and want to learn how to pick up chicks, how to approach and impress women. Boomhauer and Bobby go to a ladies’ shoe store, and, like my best students, Boomhauer gets to work and starts Sarging …

… well, sort of.

Boomhauer’s approach is that he simply walks right up to every woman in the store – and I mean EVERY woman – and asks for her phone number. As I said, he speaks unintelligibly so it comes out like “Something something dang ol’ something something you know give me your number and something something call you up sometime or something.” You see him get repeatedly yelled at and slapped. This happens, I think, about 20 times.

But then a woman writes her number on a card and hands it to him. Boomhauer walks up to Bobby, shows him the card, and says something like, “See, look at that, man. Dang ol’ piece of cake.”

Bobby wonders what he’s talking about, since he just witnessed Boomhauer getting shot down over and over. Boomhauer replies that it doesn’t matter, because he got the digits from a hottie. Then he walks off with all the confidence and serenity of a man who owns his game, who KNOWS he’s going to get laid.

So … What Can We Learn From Boomhauer?

Yes, his approach is rough and primitive, and if he was my student, in no time flat he wouldn’t need to approach 20 women to get results, or ask for numbers anymore. But there are some general principles Boomhauer teaches us.

• When you Sarge on a woman, it’s not just about succeeding with THAT ONE woman. It’s about honing and mastering your skills to succeed with that woman AND the next ten women you approach (one of whom might be her even hotter roommate or neighbor).
• Even the most experienced expert girl-getters don’t succeed with every woman. The real goal is to approach and Sarge on as many women as possible to find the creme de la creme of sizzling hotties. I have a radically and fundamentally different view of approach anxiety; I don’t view it as being about fear of rejection or even fear of the approach

Rather I view it as neurological friction; the result of two equally powerful and conflicting desires arising in your neurology at the same time.

What are these?

The desire to move forward and talk to the woman(or women) and the equal and opposite desire to stay right where you are and not say a word until you are certain that what you are going to say and do will work.

Let me give you a metaphor to understand.

Suppose I gave you a radio-controlled toy car.  And you gave it the command to turn left and turn right at the exact same moment.

What would the car do?

I think you know the answer.

It would freeze up and spin its motor until it burned out or the battery ran out.

Is this beginning to make sense?

A huge breakthrough will occur when you now realize that approach anxiety isn’t really that at all. It’s internal conflict manifesting as neurological friction and cognitive confusion.

Now there is one more complicating factor and that is the meaning you give to the feelings of neurological upset.

If you conclude that the anxious, or rather FRICTION feelings means that you face some external threat-that you are about to be rejected, defeated or humiliated in the external world, then you are going to create secondary anxiety about that.

Now, in addition to the internal conflict, you get to add in a nice dose of fight or flight syndrome.

So what is the solution to all of this?
