Sometimes, the best approach with women is the direct approach.  And sometimes, when you run out of things to say, you need a “fall back” line that just doesn’t fail.

In this video, I reveal that line.  It speaks the truth in a simple, direct, non-threatening and honest way that usually has a very strongly positive impact.

Why?

Well, when most men go to meet women, they try to hide their intent, or they bludgeon women with that intent.

As an example of the latter, my Swedish sweetie, Pernilla, got hit on a lot when she was out here in LA, and the guys almost always just ran up to her and asked her out, without any introductory conversation at all.

Talk about clueless.

But I really like this opener because it comes across as something other than a pick up line.  And remember, pick up lines usually don’t work because they are predictable, trite, boring or even offensive.

But this one really rocks it. You will successfully meet women with this direct, can’t miss opener.

I’m more convinced than ever that 90% of the success and satisfaction you can enjoy with women is influenced far more by what is between your ears than what is between her legs.

Now, don’t get me wrong here.

As you are about to learn here, I do NOT believe in “positive” thinking when it comes to women, money, or anything else.  In fact I think “positive thinking” is one of the most destructive illusions that has ever been peddled.

Here’s why.

Positive thinking usually just amounts to “shut your eyes, ignore that fact that you are failing or are miserable, and pretend things are going the way you want them to go”.   Just “believe” and you will achieve.

How “Positive” Advice Multiplied My Personal Suffering With Women

I can’t tell you how frustrated I used to get at all the “positive” advice I got from friends and relatives back when I was a 20 year old virgin, desperately trying to end my loneliness and get my freak on.

What kind of crap did I here?

“Just love yourself and then women will love you”.  Yeah, right.

“You’ll find someone”.  Well, eventually, maybe.  But who wants to wait? And who wants “someone”?

“Just be nice. Women love nice guys”. Don’t get me started.

The Real Problem With “Positive” Thinking

The problem with “positive” thinking is that it is oftentimes an invitation to ignore the reality of your situation, to turn a blind eye to what you need to learn, and to keep on repeating mistakes.  It’s tied together with another destructive “mind virus” that is part of our culture: “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.”

How About A Dose Of Informed Enthusiasm Instead?

What I would actually like you to do is junk positive thinking entirely and instead work on developing what I call informed enthusiasm and intelligent motivation.

Informed enthusiasm simply means that you’ve trained yourself to spot where you are doing well, across many different levels; some obvious and some not so obvious.  And, additionally, you’ve developed an incredibly effective way to remove confusion from situations that don’t’quite go your way and to see exactly what you need to do differently the next time.

Intelligent motivation comes from knowing that, while you may not get what you want right away, you certainly will learn what you need to get what you want, or better.    It’s a totally reality-based confidence in your ability to learn from each and every encounter and situation with women.

Dear Speed Seduction(R) Students,

God, I love my job.

The other night, I conducted one of my two monthly “Ask Me Anything” Coaching Calls.  And, as you’ll hear from this Mp3 file, I was on fire.

I especially like the advice I gave one of the callers about training his mind to notice what was working, and focus on repeating and mastering that, rather than getting caught up in frustration or overfocusing on mistakes.

Remember, we want to notice what works AND where we need improvement. We need to do both so we can develop intelligent motivation and informed enthusiasm.

Dwelling on mistakes amounts to rehearsing them.  Ignoring what works, amounts to losing learning.

Both bad choices, and so many guys are doing both of these.

Instead, we discipline ourselves to notice first and foremost what is working so we can polish it, practice it, master it, make it ours.  Then we notice where we need improvement-from a place of relaxed, calm, learning-ready consciousness.  This way we subtract all the frustration OUT and instead get excited about going right back out there in the field and doing what we need to do(and enjoy doing) to succeed.

Notice how I tell him how to notice the different states of absorbtion, fascination and trance-all good indicators, in my experience, that her pussy is lubricating and her mind is descending into the gutter! These include the “Mini-o” lip and the “eye scan”.

As you may know, I offer a very high-quality coaching program for those students smart enough to sign up.

What you are about to read is a post that was made today on the member’s discussion board from a student, reporting how my advice really worked out for him.

“Last month in the mega meeting, Ross challenged me to do 10 Manny Martian walkups. I wrote out a thousand dollar check to Greenpeace and sent it to him, to seal my commitment to getting over my inability to approach.

I had till June 1st. Ross threatened to kick me off if I didn’t do it, but if I did, I’d be invited to the next SS seminar! Last night, I did 3 walkups in a 15  minute burst; tonight I did my last 2.

It started out much more difficult than I imagined. It seemed like such a simple, stupid exercise, but it was a struggle at first. I went out several times without making a single approach. I made sure to transmute my frustration and learn from every outing though, and that was the key to my success! it made it easier to get back out into the field and it showed me that I needed to add in more fun/playful energy. I reinforced the beliefs almost daily and listened to the mp3s from this site as I drove each day.

Stuff I learned:

*It does get easier with practice. Walkup #5 was easier than #1, etc.

*I didn’t have a single negative response. Most were baffled, and asked me to repeat it. They were still baffled after that. I thanked them and walked off, and they still looked baffled, lol.

*I can maintain good eye contact with HBs.

*I increased the number of smiles I do. I feel more relaxed.

* Pre-sarge rituals get better with practice too.

* Post-sarge NYIG is golden. As is keeping a sarge journal.

* No one else in the world cares what I’m up to. When the walkups are over, life goes on, no big deal.

* Ross is brilliant: his learning mindset of focusing on what was done right is such a radically different orientation. It took me a while to warm up to the idea due to cultural conditioning, but once I got it, it changed how I see myself and the world…

Cream of the crop belief that also helped changed my mindset:

“I always start at the very least, from the very best I have done so far.” I plan on generalizing this belief out to the professional areas of my life.

My next step is to increase my aggressiveness and diminish my hesitation states. It’s very random: tonight I approached the first girl right away, but the second had me hesitating. When I get into that mode, it can take forever. Anyone have any tips for increasing my “just go for it” mentality?

Ok. RJ here again. Wasn’t that great? I really love it when guys get breakthrough results following my advice.  Look at how much this guy has not only changed his actions in the world, but his orientation towards focusing on what he is doing right and how he can continue to get better at it.  That’s one hell of a shift from where he was.

It is an odd reality that when you first start learning to get good with women, you may wind up feeling even more frustrated and confused than before you started.

The reason is pretty easy to understand: in the beginning, when you don’t know what to do, at least you are very clear about getting nowhere.  You may be frustrated as hell with your situation, but at least you don’t have to spend time figuring out what almost worked.

However, when you start getting ok, even pretty good at this game, you start finding yourself in situations that you could only dream about before. But you may be still lacking one or more crucial skill sets or moves to close the deal.

Now, women are  wanting to spend time with you. Now, you do get them to make out with you. Now, you may actually get them half-naked on your bed.

But , as I said, for some reason you still don’t close the deal.

Believe me, I have been there.  When I first was learning and developing Speed Seduction®, I didn’t fully understand the principles or how I was doing what I was doing.  And I had many situations where I appeared to get very close to closing the deal with some juicy, amazing woman, and then….

…..It Didn’t Happen And I Never Heard From Her Again!

In fact, to be truthful, I can remember many times literally crying with frustration. And I’m not exaggerating this or making it up.

So the solution is being able to develop a simple meditation practice that allows you to:

1.    Sit with the confusion and frustration for a short while, without having to try to get out of it. Being ok with not knowing, and even confusion, is actually the start of clarity.

2.    Create a relaxed, altered state, where you can see clearly what you could have done differently, what you did correctly, and visualize doing it right the next time.

As you are there reading this, does that make sense?

These two skill sets, even though they are not exciting or dramatic, are crucial to your leap-frogging over stuck points and enjoying profound breakthroughs with very lovely ladies.
